Products Description
5x20mm Fuses Fast Blow 5G/5F/5C
5x20mm Fuses Slow Blow 5S/5T/5H
The most common tubular fuse specification, 5x20mm fuses (5mm diameter, 20mm length), are utilized in electronic and electrical equipment because to its standard size and steady performance. The automated production line of XC FUSE makes 5x20mm fuses for fast-blow/slow-blow glass and ceramic tubes.

Material innovation
Very precise fusing
Glass tube type: ideal for pure resistive loads (lighting and heating circuits), immediately cuts off when overloaded;
Ceramic tube type: built-in quartz sand arc extinguishing, can bear motor starting impact currents, and doubles breaking capacity.
Multiple safety certificates
Met GB/T 9364.1 national standard requirements for UL 248-14, CE EN 60127, and RoHS 2.0 certification;
Randomly sampled batches undergo 1000 hours of durability testing (85℃+ rated current) with a failure rate of <0.05%.
Benefits
- Glass or ceramic bodies ensure durability
- Available in cartridge and axial lead form
- Can mount on printed circuit boards
- Compatible with wave soldering processes
Guide for Selection and Auxiliary Services
Triadic Selection Method
Step 1: Compute the operational current
For a 220V AC device with a power rating of 1000W, the operating current is calculated as 1000W ÷ 220V ≈ 4.5A; it is advisable to choose the 6.3A specification.
Step 2: Verify the voltage and interrupting capacity
The voltage must be greater than or equal to the maximum operating voltage of the circuit, and the breaking capacity must be greater than or equal to the maximum short-circuit current of the circuit;
Step 3: Choose the material and specifications
Select the ceramic tube slow-melting type for motor loads and the glass tube fast-melting type for resistive loads.

Inquiries
Is it possible to substitute 6x30mm specifications with 5x20mm fuses?
A: They are not capable of being directly replaced. The mounting bases are incompatible, and the two are of varying diameters. The current and voltage parameters must be reassessed, and the base must be replaced simultaneously if replacement is necessary. It is advisable to reach out to us in order to submit a circuit diagram. The technical team will then offer an alternative.
What is the primary difference between ceramic tubes and glass tubes?
A: The ceramic tube type has better heat dissipation and breaking capacity, making it appropriate for scenes requiring high current or arc extinguishing; the glass tube type is less expensive and allows for intuitive observation of the fusing state, making it appropriate for civilian scenes such as home appliances.
Are there any CE-certified versions available for export to Europe and the United States?
A: The entire range of 5x20mm fuses is CE-certified in accordance with the EU Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU
