SMD Fuse 2410 is a surface mount fuse in an EIA 2410 (6125 metric) package with a size of 6.1 mm × 2.5 mm. Its structure usually consists of a ceramic base and tinned copper terminals, with high heat resistance and good soldering performance. This fuse is suitable for overcurrent protection, with common rated currents ranging from 0.375 A to 15 A and rated voltages up to 250 V AC/DC. Its fusing characteristics include fast-acting, time-delayed, and high-inrush current types to meet different application requirements. The SMD Fuse 2410 series is designed to meet higher I²t requirements and maintains stable structure and performance under short-term high-energy surges. I²t is a key parameter to measure the fuse's ability to withstand current surges. The higher the value, the stronger its energy tolerance. Under 1000% rated current conditions, the 24F type fuse has a melting time of 1ms–10ms and the 24T type has a melting time of 10ms–100ms, both of which are much higher than the tolerance level of low-energy fuses. This response characteristic allows it to be used in situations with surge currents, such as motor starting and LED lighting, to ensure that the circuit will not malfunction when a surge occurs.

Under 200% current conditions, the fusing time of the 24F series is 0.5–120 seconds, and that of the 24T series is 1–120 seconds, further improving the ability to distinguish different overload levels. Under 1000% current impact, 24F quickly cuts off within 1–10ms, and 24T is 10–100ms, which is more suitable for loads with startup surges. This specific time-current characteristic curve design helps to achieve fine current window control, protect downstream devices and reduce false operations.

 

Optimized package structure
SMD Fuse 2410 adopts 2410 package size (6.1mm × 2.5mm) and uses ceramic shell as substrate, which has excellent heat dissipation efficiency and thermal shock resistance. Silver-plated brass melt can still maintain electrical conduction consistency at high temperatures (such as +125℃), ensuring stable resistance during long-term operation.
