KSD305B

The KSD305B is a waterproof bimetallic thermal protector, commonly known as a fast-acting defrost thermostat. It is designed to automatically open or close the circuit according to temperature changes, providing overheating protection for various electrical appliances.

Precise temperature control
Our products use a highly sensitive bimetallic strip structure, which can achieve fast disconnection and automatic reset within the preset temperature range. Its temperature control range is wide, and common models can cover from -5°C to 100°C, with a maximum tolerance temperature of 140°C, ensuring stable operation in a variety of application environments.

Excellent waterproof performance
The surface of our products is encapsulated with epoxy resin, with excellent sealing and a higher waterproof level than ordinary exposed temperature control switches. After rigorous insulation resistance testing, the insulation resistance in water exceeds 100 megohms, ensuring that the switch can still maintain stable performance in humid or even flooded environments, and is suitable for refrigerators, washing machines and other electrical appliances that require waterproof protection.

High load capacity
Our switches are rated for 25 amps and can carry high-power loads of common household and industrial equipment, and their performance is stable and does not decay due to long-term use. Rated for up to 20A (Amperes) of current under resistive load conditions per pole, totaling 40A for both poles combined.
Application: Used when more complex switching is required, a DPDT setup in a thermostat application can control both heating and cooling devices or switch between two distinct heating elements or circuits.

Key Differences from KSD305 and KSD305B
Number of Poles and Throws: SPST has one pole and one throw (on/off), while DPDT has two poles and can switch between two different positions for each pole.
Current Capacity: SPST 40A can handle a higher current per circuit (up to 40A), whereas DPDT 20A splits this capacity between two poles (up to 20A per pole).
Application Flexibility: DPDT offers more flexibility in controlling multiple circuits or devices independently compared to SPST, which is limited to controlling a single circuit.
